49ers’ Smith Out On Bail After His Arrest For Dui

Perhaps most ridiculous is the latest one claiming Will and Jada’s relationship has hit rock bottom. Smith opened up on Queen Latifah’s new talk show about how he learned of his wife allegedly seeking a divorce. “Like a year ago, there were all these rumors that me and Jada were getting a divorce. So I get the Google Alert, I’m laying in bed — with Jada. It says, ‘Jada Pinkett Smith files for divorce.’ So I’m like, ‘This is crazy !'” He set the record straight that the couple, who also serve as executive producers on Latifah’s show, have no plans of splitting. He also got candid about his marriage overall. “It’s hard in relationships in general when people expect it to be easy,” said the 44-year-old actor. “It’s not easy. It’s the individual most difficult thing that you’re ever going to do in your life — to try to handle the challenges of life and family and love, side by side for somebody for the rest of your life? It’s a battle.” Also on HuffPost: Neil Patrick Harris & David Burtka Celebrity Couples Portia de Rossi & Ellen DeGeneres Celebrity Couples Megan Fox & Brian Austin Green Celebrity Couples

Will Smith, Jada Pinkett Smith Learned Of Divorce Rumors In Bed

4. It is not clear whether Smith will play Sunday for the Niners when they host the Indianapolis Colts at Candlestick Park. The team released a statement Friday regarding Smith shortly after his arrest. “The 49ers organization is aware of the matter involving Aldon Smith. As we continue to gather information regarding this situation, we will have no further comment,” the team said. Smith, 23, posted $5,250 bail and was released from the Santa Clara County jail late Friday morning, just hours after he was taken into custody by police responding to a single-vehicle crash that involved his truck in San Jose, Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Sgt. Kurtis Stenderup said. San Jose police arrested Smith after officers received a call from a resident about the crash in the city’s Silver Creek area around 7 a.m., Sgt. Heather Randol said. Officers proceeded to give Smith breath and other tests after his pickup apparently struck a tree, hit a curb and left streak marks on a driveway and sidewalk. “They conducted an investigation and determined he was under the influence,” Randol said about Smith. “He was the only person inside the vehicle.” The linebacker, who played in his first Pro Bowl and helped the Niners appear in the Super Bowl last season, was also arrested on suspicion of drunken driving in Miami Beach in January 2012. Smith, who turns 24 on Wednesday, has also been named in a lawsuit by a Northern California man who said he was shot during a party at Smith’s house. In the suit filed earlier this month in Santa Clara County Superior Court, David Kleczek, an attorney for Ronndale Esporlas, claims that Smith and former 49ers tight end Delanie Walker fired weapons illegally during a party at Smith’s San Jose home on June 29, 2012. The players charged a $10 admission and $5 per drink, the lawsuit said.

You watch the film the next day and youre like, Man. You see a wide-open running lane and you wish you could have it back. But thats one thing that Ive just got to grow on, Whitlow said. Brown believes Whitlow may try too hard at times to prove he can throw and is more than a runner. I think thats always the tendency for guys who get labeled dual-threat. This is what I tell him all the time: Play to your strength. Whats your strength, the best thing that you can do? Hes a good passer and a good decision-maker and all of those things, but he can really run. He runs the ball. Thats your strength, Brown said. Dont get caught up in what people think. Play to your strength.
